Reclaim it with Style is an upcycle studio based in Elizabeth, Colorado. It takes discarded treasures and reinvents them into charming modern pieces perfect for every home.  Products are mainly created from Barn wood, pallets, discarded lumber, steel and metal

We also discover and purchase antiques, vintage, primitive and one of a kind items.

Meet The Artist – Paula Collis

I love wood, preferably vintage barn wood as it has so much history.  The history behind it, grain, color and species intrigues me!!!  You might be surprised in what you can also do with a simple pallet!!!  It’s unfortunate the amount of wood products that are discarded every day, and I do my best to recover discarded lumber from the vast housing growth in Colorado that can be utilized for many of my pieces!

Of course, this would not have been possible without my Dad!  When he gifted me his shop equipment and supplies, the magic began!  I am self-taught as I had never used any woodworking or shop equipment.  My Dad and Mom always instilled in me that “there is nothing I cannot do!” My Dad was able to see Reclaim it with Style come to life and see many of the pieces I have subsequently created.  Although he passed away, his love and spirit continues to guide me

My pieces are for both indoor and outdoor use.  Every creation is unique, with detailed staining and overall design.  The paint and stain color combinations vary for each piece. Most wall art is made from barn wood, repurposed wood,  painted and stained in various colors and mediums.  I will go so far to say…. each piece is “one of a kind.”

This is an ever evolving journey for me and I am extremely grateful for my husband as without his support, I would have never taken the “leap” and experienced some of the best days of my life!  I have met so many wonderful people and the support of friends and family is priceless!
